Welcome to my new website

Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

To counter some of this prejudice I have dispensed with sending my CV and have instead created The Complete Picture, an animated ninety second overview of my life to date @ https://vimeo.com/223960456.

I was one of eight support speakers to Jimmy Wales opening remarks yesterday afternoon at London House (City Hall).

I said:

** it was an outrage that Whitehall had overspent by £79 billion in 15 years over computer and data contracts yet no-one has resigned or been held to account.

** that we have a real shortage of ICT people and therefore will need to import talent in the short-term from India and China but this has been made more difficult by the immigration regulations

** hardly any students were studying ICT

** we needed to import the IIITs post-graduate model from India

** we need to provide a micro finance bank for entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs which reach into our council estates
